Important dates
Q2 ends Jan. 13 for traditional students, there will be a 3-hour early release that day.
Jan. 19 is a holiday – all CCPS schools and offices will be closed.
Report cards come out Jan. 30 for traditional students, Bellwood cards come out Jan. 16.
Chromebook login will require extra steps starting this month
At the end of January, students will need to use multi-factor authentication when logging into a Chromebook off of the CCPS network. Schools will share specific dates to their families and students. Learn more on our Chromebooks page.
Senior scholarship applications open through CEF

Applications are being accepted for the Chesterfield Education Foundation’s scholarships for graduating seniors. This year there are 21 unique scholarships. The deadline to apply is March 20, 2026. See all opportunities on the CEF website.
Parents can access special education documents via ParentVUE
It is now easier for parents to access documents for students who receive special education services. IEPs, 504 plans and other documents are now readily available via ParentVUE. Learn more about this change.
Earn college credits in high school
Rising juniors and seniors and their families are invited to a free virtual information session at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 22 to learn about dual enrollment and advanced placement courses, earning college credit, and how rigorous courses can benefit students in their college experience. Register here to attend and submit questions in advance. A link to join the virtual meeting will be emailed Jan. 22.
Save the date! Teen Summit RVA scheduled for March 14

Teen Summit RVA is a free, high-energy leadership summit for high school students from across the Richmond region to connect, learn new skills and more. Nominate an educator for an R.E.B. Award for Teaching Excellence
Do you know a CCPS teacher who inspires their students and community? Nominate them for an R.E.B. award by Feb. 17, 2026. Around 15 central Virginia teachers are selected each year to receive amazing grants up to $15,000 to support professional development. Learn more and make your nomination here.

CCPS students got to experience county government firsthand through the Model County Government program, meeting with Chesterfield County officials and learning about their roles.
My word! Bird High and Meadowbrook High teams performed outstandingly in their respective speech and debate competitions this fall. Congratulations!

Chair and Vice Chair elected, schedule set for 2026
