Alternative Programs

Chesterfield County alternative programs provide students individualized academic and behavioral support to access the standard curriculum in a small nontraditional setting. 

Academy 360

Academy 360 provides a safe learning environment and nontraditional option for middle school students to enhance their social and study skills and achieve academic success.

Daily Bell Schedule

Block 1: 8:20-9:10 a.m.
Block 2: 9:12-10:44 a.m.
Block 3: 10:46-11:40 a.m.
Lunch: 11:43 a.m.-12:03 p.m.
Block 3 (continued): 12:05-12:44 p.m.
Block 4: 12:46- 2:19 p.m.

Connections Academy

Connections Academy is an alternative program serving students who have been removed from the comprehensive school setting by the Office for Student Conduct. Students in Connections Academy continue to work with their home school to receive instruction and complete assessments. Teachers at Connections Academy facilitate learning assignments between the student and their home school and provide academic support when needed.

Night School

Night School provides high school students the opportunity to earn credits for free in the evening. Students engage in intense academic study to complete a traditional yearlong course in a single semester. Night School in-person and virtual classes take place 5-9 p.m. two days a week with in-person classes meeting at Carver College and Career Academy, 12400 Branders Bridge Road. Contact your school counselor to register for Night School.
