Chesterfield County Public Schools will provide students with Chromebooks for use at school and at home during the 2026–27 school year.
Before a Chromebook can be issued to a student:
A parent or guardian must sign and submit the 2026–27 Chromebook Use Agreement in ParentVUE. The agreement explains student responsibilities and potential fees for loss or nonaccidental damage.
The student cannot have another CCPS Chromebook assigned to them. If your student did not return a previously issued Chromebook, it must be returned as soon as school resumes. Charges will apply for lost or unreturned devices.
The student cannot have outstanding fees for nonaccidental Chromebook damage from the previous school year or summer.
Additional information:
There is no cost to receive a Chromebook. However, families will be charged for Chromebooks that are lost or have nonaccidental damage.
Students were instructed to keep their chargers at home over the summer. If a charger has been lost, families may purchase a Lenovo-compatible 65-watt USB-C charger.
Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook to school every day.
All secondary schools have designated service desks that provide Chromebook assistance during scheduled hours.
The Chromebook Use Agreement will appear when you log in to ParentVUE. If you do not yet have a ParentVUE account, visit the school division’s website to learn how to access your account. ParentVUE also allows families to monitor student progress, view report cards, sign important forms and stay connected with their school.
