Manchester High School culinary students hosted an engaging, hands-on learning experience for first graders from Ecoff Elementary. During the visit, Chef Pam Sloan’s students guided the younger learners through making their own pizzas and cinnamon twists, creating a fun and interactive environment centered around culinary arts.

This experience was designed to go beyond the kitchen by introducing foundational culinary skills while also promoting career awareness. By connecting with younger students, Manchester’s culinary classes highlighted future opportunities available in high school and beyond, helping to spark early interest in career pathways.

The event also emphasized the importance of community building, as students from different grade levels collaborated, learned together and shared in the excitement of creating something from scratch.
