Kindergartners in Sydney Hague’s class at Hopkins Elementary are celebrating their growth as writers. Each student contributed a page to the class book, “Finish the Lyrics.” After drafting and revising their work, students created final copies in pen and added detailed illustrations. They also designed a creative cover using painted thumbprints turned into musical notes and signed a meet-the-authors page. The published book is now part of the classroom library, where it will inspire future writers.
