First graders at Hopkins Elementary got their hands dirty while learning about gardening from Fit4Kids, a local nonprofit focused on children’s health and wellness. Throughout the year, the Hopkins Bobcats explore all of the components of gardening, from preparing the soil to harvesting vegetables.
