Tickets now on sale for April 30 induction

Six additional outstanding educators have been tapped for the Hall of Fame of Chesterfield County Public Schools. A partnership between the school system and the Chesterfield Education Foundation, the Hall of Fame recognizes retirees and volunteers who made a significant difference in Chesterfield County schools.

Congratulations to the 2026 honorees:

  • Gale Cushing, elementary school principal (Greenfield, Bon Air, Harrowgate) and director of elementary education

  • Sarah Fraher, middle school principal (Manchester, Elizabeth Davis, Falling Creek)

  • Patricia Kelly, reading specialist (Bensley Elementary, Evergreen Elementary)

  • Mike Rose, principal (Career and Technical Center, James River High, Bailey Bridge Middle, Chester Middle)

  • Dr. Beth Teigen, Bird High principal and executive director of school administration 

  • Alenia Wilder, Matoaca High principal and director of secondary education
