A little rain didn’t dampen spirits on the first day of the 2024-25 school year at Bellwood Elementary, as you can see in this video and in these photos. The only year-round school in Chesterfield County Public Schools, Bellwood Elementary opened July 22. (All other Chesterfield County schools follow a traditional calendar and their first day is Aug. 19.) Welcome to a brand-new year, Bulldogs!
