A teacher and students dressed up as dalmatians

It was smiles and high-fives all around when Salem Church Middle hosted Salem Church Elementary’s book character parade.

We’re not promising that there were 101 Dalmatians in Salem Church Elementary’s book character parade — but there were a lot of kindergartners sporting spots! Salem Church Middle hosted the parade, and middle school students cheered on the elementary students as they walked through the halls. Adults got into the fun as well. For example, kindergarten teacher Jacqueline Clarke dressed as Cruella de Vil; fifth grade teacher Keith Spencer portrayed Snoopy as a World War I flying ace; and a group dressed as (l-r) Smart Cookie (Principal Natasha Wade), Bad Seed (Assistant Principal Amber Gardner), Sour Grape (Instructional Designer Laura Prymak) and Good Egg (Coordinator of Special Education Michele Woods).
