MBK Debate Team

The debate team allows students to practice and perfect the art of argument in an organized format. Students learn how to create arguments on topics predetermined by the NSDA (National Speech and Debate Association). We hope to qualify for tournaments, but in the meantime, we will participate in scrimmages and events in cooperation with other high schools in the area. Students will compete in the Public Forum format this year.

As this is our first year, we look forward to reporting on our highlights at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.

Mondays from 3:05 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Our club begins with an informational meeting the second week of school. If you miss the first meeting, email the club sponsor.
