Those six extraordinary educators are the newest members of the Hall of Fame of Chesterfield County Public Schools. They were inducted during a May 1 event, bringing to 30 the total number of Hall of Fame members honored since 2022.
A partnership between the school system and the Chesterfield Education Foundation, the Hall of Fame recognizes retirees and volunteers who made a significant difference in Chesterfield County Public Schools. Several sponsors contributed to the May 1 induction gala. TowneBank was the title sponsor. George and Darlene Emerson were platinum sponsors. Gold sponsors were Bon Secours Richmond, Sonny and Alan Currin, Diaz Team/KW Metro Center and Estes Trucking.
Nominations are now open for 2026 inductees into the Hall of Fame. Former employees and volunteers can be nominated via this form before Aug. 31. The form details who is eligible for Hall of Fame nomination.
A digital Hall of Fame on the school system's website includes photos, short biographies and videos of inductees. Photos of Hall of Fame honorees are displayed at the Thomas R. Fulghum Conference Center (13900 Hull Street Road).
