DECA

DECA is a nationally recognized, co-curricular organization that is available to Marketing students at Midlothian High School. DECA focuses on four main career clusters: Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality & Tourism, & Finance. Midlo DECA’s activities include Community Service, Professional Development, Social Events, and Academic Competition.

Expand your knowledge beyond the classroom as you learn employability skills needed in today’s workforce. Better your community by leading charitable services like beautification days and food or toy donation drives. Meet lifelong friends and network with fellow Marketing students. Attend leadership conferences where you can develop industry necessary skills (Virginia Beach, Orlando, Anaheim just to name a few!). Step into the shoes of a professional in a field of interest and test your skills in real-life business simulations.

Students are to attend scheduled meetings about once per month during MAP 0 (Wednesdays). There will occasionally be an optional after school social activity or a field trip taking place during the school day.
